Mr. Malik qualified as a Barrister-at-Law in the year 2011 and is a Member at the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, London, United Kingdom. After completing the Bar Professional Training Course and Clerking with Honourable Judges at Snaresbrook Crown Court, London, United Kingdom, Mr. Malik proceeded to the United States and obtained a Master of Laws degree specializing in International and Comparative Law from the George Washington University, Washington DC.
Upon his return from the United States, Mr. Malik started practicing law in Pakistan. His major area of practice and concentration are Constitutional, Criminal, US & EU Immigration, White Collar Crime, International Contract Negotiations, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Mr. Malik represents individuals of high standing form various industries and professions; including heads of different organizations, institutions, and companies in diverse matters pertaining to fraud, corruption, money laundering, embezzlement, and illegal practices. He is also experienced in the whole spectrum of arbitration, mediation, and negotiations; in particular, the claims arising from contractual breachesand other related claims before national and international forums. Further, Mr. Malik is the legal representative of and deals in issues pertaining to Immigration and Migration for various Diplomatic Missions, including the Embassy of Sweden, Austrian Federal Ministry of Interior, Royal Danish Embassy to name a few.
Aside from practicing law, Mr. Malik possesses an avid interest within the political sphere of Pakistan as he actively campaigned for Pakistan Muslim League (N), the ruling party, during the last general election in the year 2013. He has also represented the current Federal Minister for Interior before the Returning Officer, Election Commission of Pakistan, and Election Tribunal.
