Education Laws

Education law is the legal discipline covering all issues pertaining to schools, from kindergarten through higher education. The core purpose of this type of law is to provide a high-quality education for all children, as well as providing greater access to higher education. There are plenty of sub-branches within the field of educational law, which covers issues such as students’ rights, teachers’ rights, school safety, discrimination, conduct and discipline, special education, curriculum, and alternative education options such as home schooling. Pakistan’s constitution states, “The State shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of five to sixteen years in such manner as may be determined by law.”
