Legal Notices
Legal Notices act as warnings for law-breakers usually on the civil side of law whereby a Party is warned to mend their ways failing which the same shall be subjected to legal proceedings. Such notices are mandatory in certain laws and whilst filing suits under such laws, it is mandatory to dispatch a validly delivered notice to the Party before filing a suit in a court of law against them. In such circumstances, failure of sending a Legal Notice may render an otherwise good-healthed lawsuit dismissable for prematurely being instituted.
In other cases, there are instances where Legal Notices are dispatched to Parties merely to give them some time to reassess their conduct and to rectify any wrongs which the sender thinks fit. However, a legal notice should never be made a means to unnecessarily harass a certain Party. Such abuse of the process of law is invalid.
